This edition contained two of Lewis's writings. The first was The Great Divorce. I enjoyed this book. It gave a very unique perspective on Heaven and Hell and who will enter. Lewis did a great job portraying the negative aspects of the human life that plague people and keep them trapped in our own humanness. By using people, spirits and their conversations, the main character was able to see and hear how seemingly plausible perspectives from the people are jaded when it comes to their mindset of Heaven and who will enter. Although Lewis is not in any way stating this fictional story as fact, it does give one pause to ponder their own thoughts and perspectives. The narrator Robert Whitlow did a fantastic job reading.The Abolition of Man was too intellectual for me. I made it through the first chapter and then chose not to finish. It was difficult to understand and I could not connect or relate at all.
This is a great read!
