I've made three features and I was particularly inspired and empowered by the chapters on Marketing & Distribution. There's no such thing as too much knowledge there! If you are a first-time filmmaker, seriously don't hesitate to buy this. You'll find all the knowledge you need to make a film that has a real chance of changing the world.
A very important book! Filmmakers & producers, especially Hollywood types, need to read this book on making movies that can make a difference, that can help make the world a better place. Instead of all the gun violence, sexual abuse portrayed, demeaning women & other groups, etc. Making films about positive stories, positive images, uplifting, hopeful messages, social & environmental issues, narrative & documentary. This little book will open your eyes, and your mind!
